The Autauga County Auburn Club was recently recognized as one of the leading Auburn Club Programs in the country.  The club achieved the highest recognition level, “All Auburn All Orange,” for is efforts on behalf of Auburn University.  The recognition was presented to Jeremy L. Arthur, President of the Autauga County Auburn Club, Rendi Tallmage, Vice President of the Autauga County Auburn Club, and club member Skip Tallmage at the Club Leadership Conference held at Jordan-Hare Stadium on the campus of Auburn University on Friday, February 8, 2008.  “We recognize the success of the Autauga County Auburn Club.  The Office of Alumni Affairs is proud to honor the alumni and friends of Auburn University supporting the Autauga County Auburn Club.  The “All Auburn All Orange” level is the highest Auburn Club Excellence (ACE) Award presented by the Auburn Alumni Association,” stated Debbie Shaw, Vice President of Alumni Affairs and Executive Director of the Auburn Alumni Association.  Shaw continued, “The Autauga County Auburn Club has been instrumental in helping Auburn University and furthering its academic mission to generate scholarship funds for deserving students.”

The Auburn Club Program has been an Auburn tradition for more than 90 years, and with 96 active clubs, it is the largest in the Southeastern Conference.  During the 2007 season, more than 250 club events were held, fostering the Auburn spirit throughout the country.  “To be recognized at this level is a true accomplishment for our club,” said Jeremy L. Arthur, President of the Autauga County Auburn Club.  “We are proud to partner with the Office of Alumni Affairs to develop connections between Auburn University alumni and friends in Autauga County.  The education I received at Auburn University has served as the basis for my personal and professional accomplishments. I hope anyone interested in becoming active with our club will come join us,” remarked Arthur.

The Auburn Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization designed to support the allegiance between Auburn University and its graduates and friends.  The group is composed of about 47,000 dues-paying members; more than 190,000 Auburn University alumni live throughout the world.
